ORTHO-A

Overview

In the case of unicompartmental gonarthrosis, the ORTHO-A knee brace uses targeted pressure to help realign the joint, increasing the separation between the femoral condyle and the tibial condyle and “virtually” rebuilding the space previously occupied by the cartilage.

With less weight now on the compromised compartment (medial or lateral), patients experience considerably less pain and stiffness.

• Light structure made of foam and aluminum alloy
• Single-sided hinge for improved and effective brace application. Lever mechanism to relieve mid-lateral knee
• Hoop-and-look straps to apply the brace without using Velcro ®  straps (first setting)
• Soft, removable and washable pads
• Included accessories:  - Additional condyle pad; - wedges to limit extension of 0°, 5°, 10°, 15°,  20° or 25° and flexion to 45°, 60°, 75° or 90°
• Double regulation joint of medial and lateral load
• Locking buckles with safety button
• One size in left or right for decreased stock requirement

Indications

• Moderate uni-compartmental gonarthrosis
• Uni-compartmental Osteoarthritis (lateral or Medial)
• Post-surgery cartilage or meniscus treatments
