KAFO Training with TalarMade

It was with great pleasure that we had Dave Buchanan and Francis Barrett from TalarMade conducting two days of training with our Clinical team.

The training covered orthotic prescription, Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis (KAFO) theory and design, casting and Ankle foot orthosis ankle joints. 

The clinical team had the option to try and discuss casting techniques to improve clinical outcomes and get the best for patients and clients. 

There was opportunity to play with the Becker Triple Action ankle joint test device allowing the clinicians to test the effect of different shank angles and spring assists. 

The course was well recived by all the clinicians who attended and we would like to thank Dave and Francis for making the trip to Scotland.
