National Prosthetist and Orthotists day Day 8th September 2021

Today is National Prosthetist and Orthotists day which aims to raise awareness and the profile of the two roles with both health and care professionals and the general public.

The day is to provide the opportunity for Prosthetists and Orthotists to celebrate their profession and the benefit these roles have for those patients who access the services they provide.

Having being invoved in the Orthotic industry over the last 60 years we couldnt be prouder of how the profession has changed over the years. 

 

With new advances in 3d scanning and advanced manufacturing techniques starting to become viable there is going to be exciting times ahead for the two professions.
